Accounting & Finance Staff
Position Overview
We are looking for a versatile and organized Accounting & Finance Staff to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This position will handle essential financial management tasks, including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with non-profit financial regulations.
Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with non-profit accounting standards and practices.

Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including donations, grants, and expenditures.

Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the organization’s annual budget.

Facilitate and support annual audits, ensuring adherence to financial laws and standards specific to non-profits.

Monitor and manage the organization’s cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.

Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and other statutory requirements.

Handle accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and managing collections.

Communicate with donors, staff, and external partners regarding financial matters.
Requirements

Female
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
-
2+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in a non-profit organization.

Proficiency in non-profit accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, especially Accurate & Excel.

Understanding of non-profit financial management, including fund accounting, donor restrictions, and grant management.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

Familiarity with non-profit financial regulations, standards, and best practices.

Capability to prioritize tasks and adhere to deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with financial reporting to donors and regulatory bodies.

Knowledge of financial management related to international NGOs, if applicable.
