Ability to accurately manage project
funds in accordance with the established guidelines and policies.·
Strong skills in managing interviewers and data analysis.·
Ability to be a team player inthe empowerment process.·
Good English language skills ·
Preference for candidates from West
Papua and candidates who demonstrate an affinity and solidarity with those living
with HIV and AIDS.
DescriptionProject Manager will manage peer-support
groups, key stakeholders for capacity building activities, FGDs and build solidarity
between PLHIV. These activities contribute to the project goal: to increase the
number of people being tested for HIV and the number of people receiving
continuous HIV-STD comprehensive care. S/he, with the support of administrative
staff is responsible to manage day-to-day operations (administration, finance,
procurement, reporting) of the office as well as to monitor the progress of project
in the field. To ensure the project meets the outcomes and goal, the Project Manager
is required to conduct the following main tasks:
survey, training, FGDs and survey on index stigma and discrimination with PLHIV
and assist PLWHIV to document their experiences, feelings and expectations2. Provide sound
evidence for policy and program interventions with key stakeholders and
follow-up on action plans 3. Manage community
education; campaign through edutainment and the community task-force for community-based
testing and counseling. 4. Project cost control:
manage the project and take charge of maintaining
expenditure
within the contractual budget and scheduled guidelines and ensuring the project
assets are kept safely.5. Preparing
monthly activity reports and annual reports for country office/donor; all reports
provided and submitted are in English.
