Dear Collagues, KOMPAK is looking for Finance and Administrative OfficerProgram OverviewKOMPAK (Governance for Growth) is a large and complex program that is uniquely placed to add value to the Government of Indonesia’s own efforts to improve the social and economic conditions of its citizens; it is aimed at economic expansion and poverty reduction in Indonesia. Abt JTA is supporting frontline services—including health and education—while identifying governance constraints. The work accompanies implementation of Village Law, new national rules that empower local communities and increase the direct flow of money to village governments and services. KOMPAK seeks to strengthen the capacity of all levels of government to improve services, respond to citizen needs and contribute to stable prosperity.The Opportunity Based in Jakarta, with an anticipated start date in mid-March, the Finance and Administrative Officer will provide quality administrative and finance support to the implementation of the Inclusive Engaged (IEC) Communities portfolio of projects and activities. Role responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring all requests for goods are fulfilled on time including, purchasing goods, accommodation and travel;
  • Identifying and selecting the most appropriate suppliers to achieve efficiency and achieve greater cost effectiveness;
  • Managing stock control and ensuring that stock is held for rapid fulfilment of purchase request;
  • Overseeing the processing of supplier invoices;
  • Providing support when organizing events, workshops and seminars;
  • Developing and monitoring activity and event budgets;
  • Assisting team members to prepare activity budget forecasts;
  • Providing activity and event finance reporting;
  • Providing spending updates;
  • Assist with monthly financial reporting; and
  • Undertake all other duties as reasonably directed.

Our Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma III in relevant field of Administration, Finance, or Accounting;
  • Demonstrated experience (minimum 3 years) in logistics, administration, contract development, procurement and contract management;
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills, including negotiation skills;
  • Strongly detail oriented and show patience and determination to explore problems;
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English; and
  • Proven working experience and knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Rules is an advantage.
