We seek a Communication Manager to oversee and manage all internal and external communication strategies. This role involves developing and implementing communication plans, managing media relations, producing content, and enhancing the organization’s public image and outreach. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, strategic thinking abilities, and a deep understanding of the foundation’s mission and goals.

Duration :

1 (one) year, with possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Communication Planning : Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategy that align with the foundation’s objectives and enhance its visibility including media outreach, partnerships, and speaking engagements. 
2. Content Development and Management : Oversee the development, execution, and consistency of the content across all platforms that engages BVT’s target audience and stakeholders.
3. Media Relations : Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets; manage press inquiries and interview requests; organize press conferences and media events. 
4. Brand Oversight : Ensure consistent and positive representation of the foundation’s brand across all communication channels. 
5. Internal Communication : Develop and implement strategies for effective information and collaboration within the organization.
6. Public Relations and Outreach : Coordinate public relations campaigns and community outreach programs to raise awareness and support for the foundation’s initiatives. 
7. Event Management : Oversee the planning and execution of communication and public relations events, including logistical arrangements and promotional activities. 
8. Crisis Communication : Prepare and implement crisis communication strategies; act as the foundation’s spokesperson during crises. 
9. Performance Monitoring : Track and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies, utilizing analytics and feedback to improve future efforts. 
10. Team Leadership and Collaboration : Lead a team of communication professionals, fostering teamwork, and collaborating with other departments.

Job Requirements :

1. A Bachelor’s degree or Magister’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. 
2. 4-7 years of experience in communication roles, preferably in a nonprofit or foundation environment.
3. Advanced digital marketing skills, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, and digital advertising.
4. Proficiency with Advanced Software Tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suit, CorelDRAW, WordPress, and other relevant software.
5. Multi-lingual capabilities, especially in English.
6. Strong communication skills, and striving to work with the highest levels of honesty and clarity at all levels of the program.
7. Placement in BALI and can join ASAP.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role is highly desirable.
• Proven track record in developing and executing communication strategies with media relations and brand and or organization management.
• Experience in organizing and managing events, including press conferences, corporate events, and community outreach programs both in national and international scale.
