Corporate Engagement Manager at The Nature Conservancy Indonesia Program

The Nature Conservancy (TNC) is a conservation organization working around the world to protect ecologically important lands and waters for nature and people. In Indonesia, TNC has been supporting improved natural resource planning and management for more
than 20 years, including working with government, private sector, and local communities. We currently have an opening for:
The Corporate Engagement Manager plans, develops, supports and manages corporate philanthropy and partnerships to maximize the impact for TNC Indonesia in alignment with the organization’s conservation goals.  S/he is responsible for identifying, engaging,
cultivating, soliciting and stewarding relationships with companies which could provide resources and/or reduction of environmental threats through improved business practices.  Duties include:

  • Prospecting/New business development
  • Structure and deliver corporate partnership deals
  • Relationship management support & stewardship
  • Coordinate risk review

The Corporate Engagement Manager is based in Jakarta and reports to the Corporate Engagement Associate Director.



  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 year’s experience in corporate engagement or equivalent.  Master’s degree may be preferred.
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication.
  • Good negotiating and organizational skills. Experience in negotiating with other agencies, companies, private parties or related entities.
  • Good Sales and relationship management skills
  • Experience in designing, implementing and directing multiple complex projects and ensuring program accountability
  • Communications experience including preparing and presenting project proposals and developing written communications.
