The fellow will work alongside our web developer and our communications team members to develop a new website that offers the best user experience through innovative design and user-friendly functionality. REQUIREMENTS

• Qualification in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or a Visual Arts degree.
• Proven work experience as a web designer.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and sitemaps.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wireframing tools.
• Ability to translate high-level requirements into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs and interaction flows. 
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Up-to-date with the latest website trends and best practice.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drawing up detailed website specifications.
• Designing sample page layouts including text size and colours.
• Designing graphics, animations and manipulating digital photographs.
• Designing the website’s visual imagery and ensuring it aligns with Kopernik’s brand guidelines.
• Working collaboratively alongside a web developer.
