Who We Are

Kaleka, previously known as Inobu, is an Indonesian non-profit research institute established in 2014. Kaleka’s collaborative applied research is intended to inform policy and design innovations that leads to the sustainable and equitable production of commodities and use of natural resources. Key of Responsibilities

• Provide support to farmer organizations at the district & village levels in the sustainable commodity certification process in Seruyan District.
• Coordinate village facilitators & district organizations to implement sustainable practices & achieve sustainable certification, based on agreed-upon work plans.
• Compile monitoring summaries & reports on sustainable certification documents for supported farmer organizations.
• Communicate progress, the challenges & provide concrete solutions for team KPI achievement.
• Foster good communication internally & externally with stakeholders such as farmers, village-level community organizations & local government.
• Assist the Manager in preparing internal reports.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Plantation/Forestry.
• Experienced in handling the certification process for plantation companies/community-based plantations & preparing data for certification requirements.
• Understand the stages of palm oil certification, including ISPO & RSPO.
• Good English language skills.
• Familiarity with palm oil cultivation monitoring documents & those related to certification.
• Ability to manage documents, communicate effectively, & provide guidance.
• Detail-oriented & capable of quickly adapting to changes in the work.
