Finance Assistant

Department                   :  Finance, and Administration

Position Reports to     :  Finance and Admin Officer

Positions Supervised  :  None

Location                          : Kupang (NTT office)

Overview:

Finance Assistant will support Finance and Admin team in the implementation of Jhpiego finance & administration activities for Momentum project in NTT. She/he will ensure that finance & administration systems are maintained in an accurate and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Review invoice and other supporting documents from vendor to be processed for payment
• Review Travel Expense Report and ensure the supporting documents are complete
• Ensure that supporting documents for payment are complete and fill the information on payment checklist
• Together with Admin Assistant to do terrorist checking on Jhpiego system before processing the payment
• Responsible on filling financial documentation for NTT office and send to Jakarta (National office) regularly
• Responsible on scanning financial documents and maintain them in Jhpiego Indonesia share folder
• Together with Finance & Admin Officer to conduct visit vendor according to Jhpiego Indonesia SOP
• Assist program team in finance administration during the activity as needed
• Other tasks requested by supervisor

Qualifications

• Diploma in  finance or related field with minimum of 3 years’ experience handling project finance and administration
• Strong ability to work and communicate within a team
• Computer skills, including demonstrated competency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated ability to exercise confidentiality and professionalism
• Ability to work under pressure and balance workloads among competing priorities and a tight schedule
