Greenpeace actively campaigns across the region to catalyze an energy revolution, protect ancient forests and our oceans, create a toxics-free future and create a shift to sustainable agriculture.Greenpeace has three offices in Southeast Asia (GPSEA) —in Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines and each office is currently composed: Programme Department (Campaigns, Communications, Public Engagement & Actions), Fundraising, Operations Support (Human Resources, Finance & Admin, Information Technology, Security) and Regional Development. Currently, Greenpeace Southeast Asia employs nearly 200 staff across the region, excluding the direct dialogue fundraisers.THE POST: GIS CONSULTANTKey Duties:1. Convert maps of annex of RSPO – SEIA – HCV Summary Report pdf format into jpg and make geo-jpg/geo-tiff (have geographic coordinate reference)2. Checking and update PO Layer using geo-jpg maps.3. Update the attribute table for any changed concession detail (like company name, source e.g.) and add editors name in respective column.4. Change the reference also for those concessions that have not changed but are identical on our and the RSPO map.5. Update the field “Area” & “Hectare”.6.
