lobbying and exchanging knowledge and expertise. For its Hivos Southeast Asia
(Hivos SEA) seeks qualified Indonesian candidates for the position of:
Title : Training Coordinator (TC)
Duty Station : Timor Leste based
Report to : Program Director
Hivos ISEAN
Coordinates with :
Program Officer, Finance Officer, Grant Officer, M&E Officer,
Administration Officer, SRs, IHP implementing partners, national stakeholders
Duration : October 2016 – December 2017
Roles and responsibilities
·
Provide overall
supervision of the planning, implementation, documentation and monitoring of
the training activities of IHP;
·
Develop the ISEAN-Hivos Training
Plan for IHP Extension, in coordination with the PD and in collaboration with
in-country Training Officers;
·
Review, provide feedback
and approve the in-country training plans (AWPB) submitted by SR-SSRs,
·
Ensure that planned
trainings and training related-expenses are within set budgets;
·
With the PD and other
program officers, assess management, technical assistance and training needs at
the level of the PR and SRs;
·
Assess the capacity and
learning needs of in-country teams and training officers;
·
Manage the development and
coordination of training curricula, manuals and educational tools;
·
Develop, manage and
maintain a training data base for the program;
·
Coordinate with
national/regional stakeholders to identify appropriate facilitators for these
training programmes, and act as a training facilitator as required;
·
Perform the role of the
trainer/training facilitator as required;
·
Liaise with and monitor
engaged training consultants;
·
Develop and implement
quality assurance mechanisms to assess impact of training activities and
systems;
·
Provide regular
modifications of training curricula, manuals, etc. based on training needs and
post-training assessments.

Assist the M&E Officer
in the preparation and release of the quarterly monthly IHP Newsletters
·
Lead in IHP activity
documentation activities, including publications, researches and similar
initiatives.
Knowledge, experiences and competencies
Bachelors level- University Degree in Development, |
Able to design, conduct, document and evaluate trainings specifically |
With at least 2 years’ experience in working |
Strong knowledge of project cycle management as well |
Indonesian citizen; |
Excellent communication skills with fluency |
Familiarity with the |
Willing and able to travel regularly within the South East Asian |
