Kaleka, previously known as Inobu, is an Indonesian non-profit research institute established in 2014. Kaleka’s collaborative applied research is intended to inform policy and design innovations that leads to the sustainable and equitable production of commodities and use of natural resources. Kaleka is now looking for an Internal Audit Officer that will be responsible for all ranges of internal audit roles, including but not limited to designing and implementing the audit procedures, evaluating program effectiveness, risk management, and providing solutions on audit findings. The selected candidate is expected to work independently and be based in Bogor/Bali with possibilities of business travels throughout Indonesia.

Key of Responsibilities

• Independently design and implement an internal audit procedure, covering both financial and operational.
• Assess the effectiveness of business processes, internal control, and SOPs.
• Evaluate the implementation of program activities and budget according to the institutional KPIs and project documents.
• Evaluate compliance with regulations, systems, standards and legality.
• Root cause analysis for any non-conformity and provide recommendations on improvement.
• Follow up on audit findings.
• Coordinate with external auditor in annual financial audit.
• Prepare audit reports and submit them to the Executive Board.
• Develop a program to evaluate the quality of the audit activities being performed.
• Conducting special inspections if needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree from all majors, preferably accounting
• At least two years of full-time experience in audit and other relevant field
• Have good knowledge of good corporate governance and analytical skills
• Excellent English proficiency
• A well-organized person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to maintain objectivity and work under limited supervision
