IT SPECIALIST AND SYSTEM ANALYST (Full time)

PETUAH (PERGURUAN TINGGI UNTUK PENGETAHUAN HIJAU) is a consortium of seven universities in GP’s targeted provinces; University of Hasanudin (UNHAS) for West Sulawesi, University of Jambi (UNJA) and University of Sriwijaya (UNSRI) for Jambi, University of Udayana (UNUD) and University of Mataram (UNRAM) for West Nusatenggara (NTB), University of Cendana (UNDANA) for East Nusatenggara (NTT) and led by Bogor Agricultural University (IPB).

The consortium was established for partnership with MCA Indonesia (Green Knowledge, GK), to leverage best resources from each university through effective resource, sharing mechanism with respect to researchs, lessons learned, experiences and intellectual capital needed to build various Center of Excellences (COEs) related with the local needs of the regions to support sustainable development agenda.

Background
The IT Specialist and System Analyst is located in PETUAH-MCAI Central Project Implementation Unit (CPIU) Office in Bogor, and works under direct supervision of PETUAH-MCAI Deputy Green Knowledge Management Information System (GKMIS) and GKMIS Manager.

Job responsibilities:

GKMIS IT Specialist is responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to a PETUAH’s specifications. Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. As System Analyst, implements computer system requirements by defining and analyzing system problems; designing and testing standards and solutions.

Job description:
•    Regular exposure to business stakeholders and executive management to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems.
•    Translate business requirements into system design
•    Creating an application in accordance with the Functional Specification Document (FSD)
•    Must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
•    Perform functional test and integration test
•    Application maintenance and perform bug fixing
•    Requirements Gathering, problem analysis
•    Solutions and analysis design of the impact to the existing process
•    Detailing the solution into a module/application features
•    Create Wireframe/Mockup application
•    Communicate with teams and clients on the design, implementation and progress of the solution
•    Create technical documents
•    Design and perform cases and scenarios tests and manage change management

Specific skill and requirement:
•    Strong familiarity with ASP .NET
•    Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML + CSS + JavaScript + Bootstrap, PostgreSQL database fundamentals
•    Understand the MVC pattern, especially ASP .NET Core
•    Experience in KendoUI
•    Experience in SEO, REST APIs, Linux Centos 7.1 and able to deploy the applications
•    Experience in GeoServer + PostGIS (GIS)
•    Experience in cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design (UI)
•    Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.
•    Knowledge in wireframe/mockup application (e.g:Pencil, Balsamiq, Marvell, Adobe Experience)
•    Experience the manufacture of technical documents eg FSD, SRS, UAT, User Manual
•    Understand Software Development Life Cycle
•    Have knowledge of the Knowledge Management System and GIS
•    RDBMS (Relational Database Management System)
•    Knows Use Case Diagram, ER Diagram
•    Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Google drive

Minimum qualification:
•    Bachelor Degree in Informatics, Information System and Computer Sciences
•    Minimum 3 years working with website implementation and or systems analyses.
•    Ability to handle complex business problems within the context of technical solution.
•    Fluency in English, will be an advantage.

Duty station:
Bogor, Indonesia with In-country travel as required
