SCOPE OF WORK POSITION TITLE: Grants Management Consultant PROJECT: USAID BERSAMA GBV Prevention Program in Eastern Indonesia LOCATION: Jayapura, Papua, Indonesia LENGTH OF EFFORT: August 21 (approximate) – October 27, 2017 (full time; 50 working days) REPORTS TO: Chief of Party PROJECT AND Position Summary: The USAID BERSAMA program aims to improve local capacity to serve victims of GBV, raise awareness of the problem, and promote behavior change in local communities. USAID BERSAMA includes a substantial grants program, through which NGOs and community-based organizations will propose and receive funding for activities that directly contribute to project objectives. The first round of grants was awarded in July 2017, and additional rounds of grants are planned before the end of 2017. This consultant will provide expertise and work with the USAID BERSAMA Grants and Program teams to improve the grant-making process, establish monitoring and management system with clear roles and responsibilities, and launch the next rounds of grants. This consultant will report the USAID BERSAMA Chief of Party or delegate, and may at times be asked to liaise directly with Winrock home office management staff. |
