Who We Are

Kaleka, previously known as Inobu, is an Indonesian non-profit research institute established in 2014. Kaleka’s collaborative applied research is intended to inform policy and design innovations that leads to the sustainable and equitable production of commodities and use of natural resources. Key of Responsibilities

• Manage and directly oversee the implementation of all activities related to seedling production at the nursery.
• Organize and record the incoming and outgoing traffic of seedlings from the nursery.
• Ensure the availability of high-quality seedlings for use during the planting season.
• Be responsible for the maintenance of equipment, material management, and asset and inventory management.
• Regularly consult with supervisors regarding planning, implementation, and improvements, as well as coordinate on execution results.
• Develop budget plans and seedling production plans at the nursery, and adjust according to planting targets.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Agrotechnology/Nursery/ Plant Protection/Forestry/Agriculture;
• At least one year of experience in managing nurseries.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment for seedling cultivation.
• Analytical ability to identify plant growth issues and propose effective solutions.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to handle daily nursery operations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for coordinating with teams and stakeholders.
• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to adapt to changes and challenges in the field.
