term Contract and on D level.
Project Coordinator – VCO Project
Job Purpose:
The main objective of PC is to leading the implementation of Project Work Plan,
Project Budget Management and also to support office financial management also
to manage the project cycle, to delivery project intervention in the field, to
achieve project target and support the Field Coordinator for office management
Key Responsibility:
·
Leading
for the project management and implementation of “AIP PRISMA – Oxfam” Project
in Ende NTT. The project is “To facilitate the production and supply of VCO to
aggregation points by female VCO farmers in Flores NTT”
·
To manage
the field offices’ financial, administration and human resources so that
adequate support is provided for project implementation and ensure that Oxfam
procurement system, HR policies and other standard procedures are followed
·
Together
with the Field Coordinator, and with coordination and the guidance from Eastern
Indonesia Coordinator, represent Oxfam in NTT province
·
Maintain
relationships and coordinate with related local government stakeholder, local
authorities, other NGO’s, project beneficiaries and other involved parties
·
To ensure
that Oxfam’s project is implemented in a way that meets its intended objectives
in a participatory manner, in line with donor’s requirements and that reports
are provided on time to the donors and also all activities are in accordance
with the terms of reference and approved
·
To works
in close coordination with Field Coordinator, other Oxfam projects, operational
team including resource mobilization and communication, monitoring and
evaluation team, government officials, donors and local stakeholder ensuring
successful Oxfam project implementation
·
Report to
Eastern Indonesia Coordinator as often as the situation requires, develop an
understanding of the environment and provide analysis on current and future
trends
·
Provide
project reports as required by Oxfam and project donor.
·
Supporting
MEL Officer in gathering data and evidence of progress
·
Together
with Field Coordinator managing finance operations this includes: payment
processes; submission of project and financial report to Makassar office and
also production of timely management information.
·
To work
with Field Coordinator for provide to management with a statement of
expenditure against budget on all programmes on a regular basis and that will
assist project planning and delivery. Assist with the transactional and
reporting aspects of the financial management systems.

Ensuring
strong coordination with Eastern Indonesia finance team for preparing financial
reporting for internal and external stakeholders as requested.
·
To work
with logistics and office admin staff to ensure that vulnerable and fixed
assets are treated in adherence to Finance’s minimum standards.
·
Overall
responsible for guiding and mentoring partners for project management
·
Maintain
good communication with Eastern Indonesia team
·
Assisting
visitor from Oxfam, Donors, Government Officials and related parties to project
location in Ende NTT
Requirements:
·
Experience
in working in NTT is desirable;
·
Experience
in community development and or ethical or social business activities;
·
Experience
in community development and or ethical or social business activities;
·
Experience
of management/supervisory responsibilities.
·
Proven
practical experience in managing project business
·
Extensive
experience in working with team, and a commitment to capacity building an
inexperienced team. Proven ability to train and mentor staff.
·
Ability
to prioritise own workload, to work independently and to work to
deadlines.
·
Good team
leadership and interpersonal skills, together with the capacity to remain calm
under pressure and not lose sight of strategic priorities.
·
Willingness
to travel at short notice, and often in difficult circumstances.
·
Strong
commitment to gender, diversity issues, equal opportunities and capacity building
·
Sympathy
with the aims and objectives of Oxfam.
·
Program
management experience in community or economic including small business
development;
·
Strong
community development skills and previous experience with ethical business
development and or management;
·
Experience
and skill in building staff capacities to assess, design, plan and manage projects is essential;
·
Good
people management skills and able to motivate and manage a team of program
officers working remotely;
·
Analytical
skills with ability to honestly assess, evaluate and draw up plans for action
to improve the program;
·
Ability
to take and analyze information from different parts of the program into well
written progress reports;
·
Strong
interpersonal skills and the ability to work sensitively with people from
various cultural and social background;
·
Effective
writing and effective verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, with
skills in English is an advantage.
·
Computer
literacy – good working knowledge of spreadsheets essential.
