Manager 
Contract Based Typical Responsibilities – Key End Results
of Position:
 R.1.     Program PlanningIndicator for success:Support
the planning and design of the project implementation plan, monitoring and
evaluation framework, budget plans, and communications strategy. Develop and submit a consolidated
annual work plan on the basis of the area project specific plans.Communicate
with Resilient Island team and donor on program planning and budget. Liaise
closely with project partners and Government stakeholders to develop project
planning
R.2.     Program implementation
inline with the project design and planning
Indicator for success:Coordinate
program implementation with DRR National Program Manager and team.
Linkage PU’s and area specific
programs with overall program design.
Monitor,
coordinate, and supervise partners and related stakeholders for provision of
technical support services. Develop and coordinate scaling up strategies
R.3  Communication,
Monitoring and Reporting
Indicator for success:Conduct
Monitoring to program implementation in 2 districts
of NTT province (Nagekeo and Lembata), Indonesia, and facilitate discussion and coordination between
all Resilient Island partner institution and Plan Program Unit office in the
field.Maintain communication with DRR National Program Manager and team on program
planning and Implementation. Monitor program progress (outcomes and results)
and expenditure. Prepare progress
reports for internal Plan use to DRR National Program Manage. Prepare
informative and high quality donor report. Monitor project budget in SAP system. Collaborate
with Communications team to implement communications strategy. Communicate about the program with
outside parties. Represent
CO DRR team
R.4      Networks and LearningIndicator for success:Establish
external networks in order to strengthen the implementation of DRR program, toExchange experiences and to scale
up program implementation. Seek
innovation and put in place improved learning practices within and outside the
program
Requirements: Master in Social Welfare/Environmental
Science/Community Development/others relevant fieldwith 5-7 years’ experience
in any development works with demonstrated in project managerial skill.5 (five) years project management experience preferably in disaster risk reduction, climate change,
livelihood or rural development with international NGO’s or UN. Experience
working with donor i.e European Union, World Bank, USAID and UN agency.
Experience of managing project implementation, delivering on obligations and a
good awareness of donor requirements and priorities.Experience in capacity
building for local CSOs. Experience in representational roles; Experience in promoting and developing learning in the  area of expertise; Experience managing a team;
Skill in a diversity of partnerships, NGOs, research and government ; Demonstrated experience working with governments closely and
effectively; Strong cross-cultural skills
and a demonstrated ability to influence change without direct authority, and to
work successfully with farmers and professionals; Financial and budgeting
skills;Ability to deploy at short notice;Excellent communication skills (verbal
and written); strong negotiation and facilitation skills;Ability to work to
tight deadlines, under pressure and to multi-task;Ability to work in insecure
and difficult environments Understand well on program cycle: planning,
implementing, monitoring and evaluating development projects; Commitment to child rights and CCCD
implementation
Knowledge and Skill: Good understanding about
DRR/CCA/Resilience concept and practices;
Good understanding about Livelihood/Energy/Ecosystem Management concept and
practices
; Good understanding about
CSO strengthening concept and practices
;
Good facilitation and communication skill; Good networking with government organization, non-government
organization, and others relevant institution
; Good interpersonal skill and team work ; Understand about human right and child right; Good adaptation and familiar and sensitive to local culture and
custom
; Good computer skill and
Writing skills in English
; Willing
to travel extensively (75 %)
Attitude: High integrity; Honesty; FlexibilityRange Salary : IDR 11 550 000 –
16 500 000,-
