Widya Erti Indonesia is focusing on the education, agriculture, and community development sector by providing learning opportunities and empowering rural marginal communities to responsibly and sustainably care for environment. WEI project areas are in Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and other part of Indonesia, with the head office located in Jakarta. We are currently looking to fill the following position:

Project Manager – based in Jakarta

Location

Project Manager will be based in South Jakarta, with regular visit to project location.

Contract Duration

1 (one) year fixed-term, full time employment with possibility for extension.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reports directly to the Executive Director, s/he works closely with the project staffs and MEL staffs to manage multi projects and ensure that all project’s requirement, deadline, schedule, and budget are on track.

Specific responsibilities of the Project Manager include but are not limited to:

1. Develop and manage strategic plans, including targets determination, milestones, activities, and timelines.
2. Develop and manage detailed project plans to track progress, including monitoring and evaluation system of each project to measure project performance and progress.
3. Responsible for project resources, including staffing and budgeting.
4. Performing quality control to maintain the standards and achieve the expected results.
5. Provide technical solutions for project implementation and perform risk management to minimize project risks.
6. Ensure the projects are delivered on time within scope and budget.
7. Develop necessary regular reports with lessons learned from related projects.
8. Manage good relationships with relevant stakeholders and clients.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Manager and Director.

Requirements

1. 10 years working experience in project management.
2. 2 years working experience as project manager (or equivalent) in NGO, CSO, community development consultant, etc.
3. Strong understanding of relevant project management methodologies and experience with project management tools.
4. Experience in strategic planning, MEL, and risk management.
5. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
6. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
