Firm Overview
Planet Partnerships, LLC is a boutique international economic and environmental advisory firm dedicated to advising governments, International Financial Institutions (IFIs), and private investors to identify, structure, finance, and implement innovative development solutions worldwide. We seek a Project Manager to support our effort in project management, business development, and research analysis of urban infrastructure and sustainable investment projects. This position will help the firm continue to grow our role and brand as a leading advisor to governments, financial institutions, and investors on partnership approaches to economic development. The role will be performed from our Sanur office, working with our international projects and teams in Asia Pacific, Africa, and the United States.
Responsibilities
Planet Partnerships is seeking a committed individual and an engaged team player with outstanding communication skills and passion for economic development and sustainability issues. The individual will be given exciting opportunities for growth in the other areas of the business. Primary responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
- Support overall project planning, implementation and management of key projects in the firm’s portfolio. Project management will include quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC), meeting timelines, financial management support, and reporting to clients on all deliverables as required.
- Support the preparation of new activity Scope of Works, including to onboard long-term and short-term technical specialists.
- Provide support for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects.
- Coordinate with consultants, partners, clients, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on various topics/subject matter to identify new business opportunities.
- Support the recruitment of consultants for existing and potential new projects.
- Coordinate project travel planning and logistics in Indonesia and other countries.
- Carry out other specific duties and tasks as may be assigned by the project team on demand in line with business needs.
Qualifications Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as finance, economics, environmental management, law, development, with a minimum of 5 years of international management consulting and technical experience, preferably with an international consulting firm, NGO, or relevant organization.
- Passion for economic development, environmental conservation, poverty alleviation, investment, and entrepreneurship.
- Experience and familiarity with impact investment, infrastructure transactions, environmental conservation finance, business incubation / acceleration, market analysis, and/or other related areas desired.
- Proven experience with project planning, monitoring, management, reporting and financial management support for projects with multilateral institutions and bilateral donors such as USAID, MCC, World Bank, IFC, ADB, etc.
- Possess the ability to prioritize, communicate effectively, implement strategies, and deliver high-quality work within tight timelines and with minimal supervision.
- Proven written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia for preparing comprehensive reports, proposals, and other project documentation.
- Possess the flexibility to work effectively across various time zones and international environments.
- Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage timelines efficiently.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision while adhering to compliance and confidentiality standards.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a problem-solving mentality and strong negotiation abilities.
- Adaptability, responsiveness, and teamwork skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and social media platforms.
- Established professional networks in Indonesia in private sector, government, NGOs, startups, Venture Capital, and other relevant organizations desired.
