Project Manager (Research Project)
Job Description
- Plans and oversees SOBI’s projects to ensure that all projects are delivered according to the timeline, within scope, and within budget.
- Determine and define project scope and objectives.
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
- Prepare a budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements.
- Track project costs to meet the budget.
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
- Develop materials (presentation deck and report in word format) in relation to project
acquisition, development, implementation, and closing. - Manage contracts and relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
- Prepares reports to the Director.
Job Requirements
- Min. bachelor’s degree with relevant background, including but not limited to Management, Agronomy, Forestry, and Biology.
- At least 3 years of experience in a consultancy organization as a consultant.
- At least 3 years of experience in project management, research, and client management.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Familiar with delivering presentations following a consultant-style format.
- Passion in sustainability space.
- Excellent verbal and written command of English.
