In Indonesia, TNC is affiliated with TNC Indonesia, with a mission to inherit sustainable natural environment for future generations by preserving lands and water terein in which all lives depends on, through management of protected reserved area, vital species
habitat conservation and local communities empowerment. TNC Indonesia has achieved to conserve more than 3,9 million ha forest and 5,5 million ha of marine scope in it’s 25 years effort of protecting Indonesia’s nature. Area of nature conservation and local
community supported by TNC Indonesia includes several regions in West Papua, South East Tenggara, East Kalimantan, West Kalimantan, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), East Java, Riau and Aceh. We currently have an opening for:

 

RECRUITMENT OFFICER

 

The Recruitment Officer focuses on recruiting fundraising partners for Membership Program on a regular basis.  Duties include:

  • Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting colleges/universities, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information and opportunities; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  • Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Arranges interviews by coordinating schedules.
  • Conducts Business Opportunity Presentation
  • Coordinates Fundraiser Development Program

The Recruitment Officer reports to the Head of Strategic Conservation and Development.  S/he is based in Jakarta.

 

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree, HR professional certification or 4 years HR-related experience, or equivalent combination.
  • Interviewing skills
  • Presentation Skill.
  • People Development Skill would be an advantage.
  • Experience maintaining files, processing paperwork, data entry or related. 
  • Experience responding to inquiries.
  • Experience working with MS Office software and database software.
