Request for
Proposal to Facilitate Second
Batch of the On-the-Job Training at Selected Schools for the Weekly IFA
Supplementation Program among School-going Adolescent Girls in Purwakarta
District and Cimahi City, West Java Province in Indonesia 

The Micronutrient Initiative (MI) is an international
Non-Government Organization (NGO) dedicated to ensuring that the world’s most
vulnerable – especially women and children in developing countries –
get the vitamins and minerals they need to survive and thrive. With
headquarters in Ottawa, Canada MI maintains regional offices in New Delhi,
India and Dakar, Senegal that manage our country offices in Asia and Africa.

MI Indonesia is supporting the government in
implementing an intervention on Weekly Iron and Folic Acid (WIFA)
supplementation for school-going adolescent girls to reduce the prevalence of
anemia among them in Cimahi and Purwakarta Districts.

Previously, MI has supported the DHOs with
series of capacity building activities for District Officials as well as
Puskesmas (health center) staff and School Health Program (UKS) teachers,
including an on-job-training (OJT) at 100 selected schools in the two
districts. The On-the-Job Training (OJT) is needed to ensure front-line
personnel, namely the UKS teachers, are able to forecast, record and report,
and conduct effective counseling for adolescent girls for the weekly IFA
supplementation program.

In order to
ensure program quality, it is essential to continue this OJT initiative with
takes into account inputs and recommendations from the first batch OJT such as
disseminating OJT results to province and national level officials, reviewing
and revising monitoring instrument, developing practical implementation
guidelines, and involving province and national officials to visit the field
programs during OJT. Hence, in order to conduct
the second batch OJT at selected schools in the two districts, MI seeks support
of a local agency to facilitate the implementation of this project component.

 The
activities are planned to be conducted in August – October 2017.

Interested firm/institutions shall submit the following documents:
• Agency/Company/Institutions Profile with CV of team members
• Cover letter
• References (minimum 3 relevant experiences); 
• Proposal including financial submission (for bidding)
