RFP : Consultant of Youth Employment Website and Social Media

*1. Background *

Save the Children is an international NGO and the world’s top independent
charity for children in need. Since 1919, we have been fighting for
children’s rights, saving their lives and providing hope for brighter
futures worldwide. Save the Children’s programs in Indonesia is now

implemented by Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik and been working in eleven
provinces with staff of approximately 300 local professionals, and
programming in Child Protection, Education, Health and Nutrition, Disaster
Risk Reduction, and Humanitarian Response.

Currently, with Yayasan Bina Sejahtera Indonesia and Konfederasi
Anti-Pemiskinan Indonesia we are implementing CREATIVE project which is
funded by European Aid on “Strengthening Civil Society and Inclusive and
Empowered Youth in West Java” with the aim to reduce poverty and support
sustainable economic development. These project objectives are: promote
access to youth employment opportunities by empowering youth and engage
with civil society and local government; create access to and allocate
budget for market-oriented business and vocational training, apprenticeship
and decent work opportunities for youth; provide quality market driven
vocational, employability, life skills training and labor market linking
through government by advocating in policy amendment and budget allocation.
CREATIVE working area covers 20 villages in Sukabumi and Garut district,
linked to youth groups, Community Based Organization, vocational
institution, local government and local businesses.

With regard to realize the website and social media that accommodating
youth employment information, an expert in website development and social
media will be hired as consultant. The design of the website and social
media will be discussed with youth and representative of district
stakeholder in consider type of layout and content. This consultant will
also train a group of youth and district stakeholder as administrator team
of this website and social media. By the provision of these internet based
platforms, access to youth employment can be improved in Garut and Sukabumi
district.

*2. Position*

Consultant of Youth Employment Website and social media

* 3. Objectives of the Consultant*

The consultant will assist the Agency to:

– Provide accessible information on youth employment in form of website
and the most popular social media (one type) in Garut and Sukabumi district
– Improve capacity of social media and website administrator

*4. Consultant should provide the following service:*

Scope of consultancy as follow:

4.1 Provide accessible information on youth employment in form of website
Activities:

– Consultant agreement and activity brief with SC team in Bandung or
through Skype call.
– Design draft of website layout with established hosting and domain,
and also the most popular social media in Garut and Sukabumi.
– Follow 3 times revision of website and social media draft.
– Submit and handover final website and social media (including its
administration)

4.2 Improve capacity of website administrator
Activities:

– Training preparation with SC team in Bandung or through Skype call.
– Administrator training in Garut and Sukabumi to improve capacity of
administrator to do simple content upload and maintain the websites and
social media
– Submit training report

*5. **Deliverables:*

– Design draft of website layout with established hosting and domain (2
websites: Garut and Sukabumi), and social media
– Final website and social media, and report of website administrator
training

*6. **Time Frame *

Thirty working days for Website and social development, include
administrator training (starts on 18 July – 9 September 2016) :

– Consultant agreement and activity brief with SC team (week 1)
– Design draft of website layout with established hosting and domain,
and also the most popular social media in Garut and Sukabumi (week 2 – 4)
– Follow 3 times revision of website and social media draft (week 5)
– Submit and handover final website and social media (including its
administration) (week 6)
– Training preparation with SC team (week 6)
– Administrator training in Garut and Sukabumi to improve capacity of
administrator to do simple content upload and maintain the websites and
social media (week 7 – 8)
– Submit training report (week 8)

*7. Term of payment *

Payment would be divided into 2 phases after deliverable submission below:

– *First payment:* 60%: Design draft of website layout with established
hosting and domain (2 websites)
– *Second Payment*: 40%: Final website and social media and Report of
website administrator training
