Timeline
It is estimated that the Consultation will have a period from 13 May 2024 – 30 August 2024. for a series of activities to survey the potential catchment area and water bodies (ground water &; surface water) as well as compile and map potential projections of restoration areas around 4 (four) watersheds (DAS), namely Ciliwung, Citarum, Cisadane and Cimandiri watersheds..

Method
The Volumetric Water Benefit Accounting (VWBA) will be used to determine volume of water in project period based on partners and project interventions.
Technical Direction
The main contact for contract related enquiries is Sundaland YKI Landscape Manager. Consultants will receive technical direction from experts at YKI, YKI Field program coordinators, Landscape Managers and YKI Program Directors, to ensure all tasks, results and quality run on time.

- Qualifications and Experiences
Prospective candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- An institution, organization, or team, consisting of:
- Team leader (Hydrologist)
- Team Members
- Team Leaders and experts
- Knowledge and experience in hydrology (ground water &; surface water), silviculture (forestry)
- Experience in using Volumetric Water Benefit Accounting (VWBA)
- Have at least a bachelor’s degree in forestry, biology, environment or other similar fields
- Knowledge and experience of ethical communication with local communities
- Experienced and have skills in presenting data and analysis.
- Strong and organized communication skills
- Experience working in Ciliwung, Citarum, Cisadane and Cimandiri watersheds
- Fluent in Indonesian and proficient in using English both oral and written.
Evaluation criteria:
Technical planning, including approach, methodology, work plan, and timeline (50%). Portfolio and qualifications of key personnel (25%) and proposed budget (25%).

- Criteria Evaluation: To evaluate proposals, KI will look for the most technically strong candidates with the right budget. Proposals will be evaluated using the following criteria:

- Resulting Award KI anticipates entering into an agreement with the selected bidder by 13 May 2024. Any resulting agreement will be subject to the terms and conditions of KI’s Services Agreement. A model form of agreement can be provided upon request.
This RFP does not obligate KI to execute a contract, nor does it commit KI to pay any costs incurred in the preparation or submission of the proposals. Furthermore, KI reserves the right to reject any and all offers, if such action is considered to be in the best interest of KI. KI will, in its sole discretion, select the winning proposal and is not obligated to share individual evaluation results.
- Confidentiality All proprietary information provided by the bidder shall be treated as confidential and will not be shared with potential or actual applicants during the solicitation process. This includes but is not limited to price quotations, cost proposals and technical proposals. KI may, but is not obliged to, post procurement awards on its public website after the solicitation process has concluded, and the contract has been awarded. KI’s evaluation results are confidential and applicant scoring will not be shared among bidders.
