About RWI
The Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI) has promoted human rights for 40 years through research, education, and capacity development. Established in Lund, Sweden, in 1984, RWI is an independent academic institution that combines multidisciplinary human rights research with outreach to enhance respect for human rights globally. RWI operates from six offices worldwide, including one in Jakarta, Indonesia since 2005. The office is currently implementing a Regional Asia Pacific programme (RAPP2), funded by Sida. Position Description
RWI is seeking a full-time Programme Officer (PO) in Jakarta, Indonesia, starting as soon as possible. The initial contract until 31 December 2024, with the possibility of extension, subject to funding. The PO will manage the planning, coordination, and implementation of RWI’s Access to Justice and Business and Human Rights activities within RAPP 2. The role reports to the Country Director. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in law, human rights, environment or a related field.
• A minimum of five years of programme management experience, with a focus on human rights, business, and environmental issues.
• Strong analytical, and budget management skills.
• Fluency in English with excellent writing and presentation abilities.
