BaKTI (the Indonesian acronym for Eastern Indonesia Knowledge Exchange) is
an independent organization based in Makassar, founded on August 24, 2009.
BaKTI specializes in knowledge management in Eastern Indonesia focusing on
expanding local knowledge, building bridges and networks among local reform
champions, and providing platforms upon which reformers can share their
successes and advocate for further change.
The Green Knowledge project is the project funded by Millennium Challenge
Account Indonesia (MCA-Indonesia). The Green Knowledge Grant is a program
that invests in projects that improve the skills and capacity of the
workforce, the provision of technical assistance, the collection and
dissemination of knowledge in one or more areas of the Prosperity Green
Project such as renewable energy, natural resource management and
sustainable commodities.
Through this project, BaKTI Foundation acts as a knowledge manager for
Green Knowledge project activities and other Green Prosperity projects.
BaKTI will conduct the collection and documentation of green knowledge
throughout the projects, followed by knowledge dissemination through
various networks, events and media channels to enable stakeholders and
beneficiaries to reach and adopt that knowledge
