Triangle Institute (RTI) International is seeking applicants for 2 Short
Term Technical Assistant (STTA) Software Application Programmerin Jakarta for the USAID funded
“Expanding Maternal and Neonatal Survival” (EMAS) project in Indonesia. This five year project is improving public
and private sector hospital quality of care for maternal and neonatal health
service delivery and increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the
referral systems at community health centers. The software application
developer will support the development of mobile information and
communication technology applications. The successful candidate will work as
part of a technical team and will design, develop, test, and deploy moderate to
complex solutions designed to improve maternal and neonatal. This
development may involve the use of commercial software, open source software and RTI-developed software tools. This position requires the ability to work well in a team
environment and excellent writing and verbal communication skills. LOE (length
of effort) Total 45 days for 3 months. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and deploy web applications and mobile
applications to improve the current SIJARIEMAS as guided by ICT advisor. - Contribute in writing documentation
and manual for the functionality of software. - Design and maintain database including writing database queries
and stored procedures, optimize, backup and restore. - Monitor and maintain web application server
at national level to ensure that the server including the applications running
properly.
Qualifications:
- B.S. or
higher in Information Technology or other technical discipline and working in
an Software
Development Environment. - Fresh
Graduate with programming skills are welcome. - Strong
knowledge and skills in software design and development, including testing, and
test-driven development. - Experience
in applying and developing Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) technologies. - Knowledge
and skills in Effective Experience framework, applied understanding of the
object relational model, SQL, and database design. - Experience with the
following:
