Vice-Director Position Yayasan Tambuhak Sinta (YTS), a Kalimantan-based
foundation head-quartered in Palangka Raya, is striving to improve the quality
of governance and well-being in areas affected by mineral development
activities, and is working closely with communities, local government and
extractive companies to achieve this objective. Currently we are undergoing an organisational change
process and are looking for someone to join the management team as
Vice-Director to help lead this process and to oversee the smooth running of
our field activities and office support units. At the present time, we are
focusing on empowering communities to improve livelihoods and to manage natural
resource use more effectively. We are
looking for a mature and well-rounded individual in the development sector, who
has the ability and stamina to lead a diverse team and to strengthen the capability
of the organisation to do excellent and meaningful development work in
Kalimantan and other parts of Indonesia. Experience
and qualities required: 

• Previous
  experience with organizational change and development
• Strong
  management skills in program development & implementation, finance,
  personnel
• Excellent
  communication and human relations skills at all levels
• Strong
  leadership and team-building skills
• Direct
  experience in building effective partnerships for development with government,
  private sector, CSOs and funding agencies
• Excellent
  cross-cultural understanding and communication skills
• Strong
  analytical, research, writing and documentation skills
• Strong
  language skills – English, Bahasa and ideally Dayak
