Kaleka, previously known as Inobu, is an Indonesian non-profit research institute established in 2014. Kaleka’s collaborative applied research is intended to inform policy and design innovations that leads to the sustainable and equitable production of commodities and use of natural resources. Kaleka is now looking for a Writer for the Kolibri Alliance to play a crucial role in crafting engaging content to support the alliance’s communication goals. Writer will collaborate with relevant managers and other alliance members to produce high-quality written materials that effectively convey the vision, mission, initiatives, and impact of the Kolibri Alliance.

Key of Responsibilities

• Write, edit & review articles for websites or various social media channels from credible sources.
• Develop content strategies that align with the website’s or other social media communication goals & target audiences.
• Research & prepare the article outline.
• Ensure all contents are grammatically correct, written appropriately, professionally & easily understood both in Bahasa Indonesia & English.
• Find suitable photos or documentation for the published articles.
• ⁠Collaborate with other teams to produce good-quality articles & deliver effective messages & values.
• Assisting in writing & editing reports according to the direction of the relevant Manager (if needed).
• Carrying out other relevant tasks as directed by the relevant Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum holding a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, English Literature, Public Relations, or other relevant fields with a strong interest in Research & Agriculture.
• Have at least 2 (two) years of work experience in Corporate Communication, Media, or Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
• Proficient in writing articles, press releases & other relevant content for various social media platforms both in Bahasa Indonesia & English.
• Possesses excellent communication skills and able to convey ideas effectively in written form both in Indonesian & English.
• Well-organized & detail-oriented.
• Able to work in a team & can meet the deadlines.
