to 2022,
where the country objective has been defined as “to identify and facilitate the removal of obstacles that prevent
children from enjoying their rights and participating fully in Indonesian
society”. The organisation’s
purpose is to “strive for a just world that advances children’s rights and
equality for girls”. This goal will be achieved by providing technical
support and implementing quality programs and projects through partnership. An
effective and efficient communications strategy is a must for Plan Indonesia to
share the outcomes of these projects to influence different actors, specially
state authorities and to position Plan’s profile within and outside at
different levels – starting from community, sub district,
district to national,

committed professional to fill the following position: Accountant
– Country Office Responsibilities:Accounting and Treasury ,Accounting and cash
management is accurate and compliant with established Plan policies and
procedures.Review all transactions
processed in the SAP to ensure that they are accurate and comply with Plan
procedures. Ensures that all purchases and payments are within budget before
processing. Maintain the books of accounts, i.e. ledgers, sub-ledger, cash book
and all other records as required. Process invoices and cost recovery journals
for all grant funded projects in coordination with Grant Accountant. Review
balance sheets accounts reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of
reconciling items. Maintain database of partner’s contract and ensure it up to
date and available for audit trail. Ensure timely disbursement of funds to
sub-recipients/partners, process liquidation of partner advances and reporting
of the same. Perform the routine SAP period end closing processes.Internal Financial ControlsInternal Financial Controls
and Risks Management. Conduct surprise petty cash
count at least twice a year in every office location and cash count form is on
file. Support Country Finance Manager to follow up finance-related audit
actions for the Country Office to ensure actions are implemented and
alternative actions taken as required to address weaknesses in financial
controls and procedures identified in finance and other forms and audit
reports.Financial Reporting and Analysis Financial reporting and
record keeping are thorough, well maintained and accurate Accurate maintenance of all expenditure recording
including supporting documentation which is of all expenditure recording
including supporting documentation which is approved by the appropriate
authority. Support Country Accountant preparing periodic financial reports for
the Country Office, including Balance Sheet and Income Statement reports on
monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting.Program Activities of Sponsorship Communication As a finance focal point
for sponsorship communication activities: Ensure expenditure entry in SAP for sponsorship activities is based on
the approved budget. Together with Sponsorship
Program Manager prepare accurate financial reports on timely basis. Maintain overall oversight of the budget so that
over or under spends can be highlighted and discussed with Sponsorship
Programme Manager.Requirements:  Minimum of University degree in Accounting. At least five years in
related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including
