Save the Childrenin Indonesia is changing for the better. We’ve begun to build a national organisation that aims to be a strong, local, and self-sustaining voice for children in Indonesia. To this end, SC Indonesia has been designated as a “Prospect Member”. As
‘Prospect Member’ Indonesia has been identified as part of the next way of new member development, which focuses on strengthening and localizing our voice for children in strategic middle income countries. Indonesia has been authorised by member ballot to
start fundraising locally as a first step towards building a financially sustainable local organization. Future work will also involve developing a strong local governance structure and building key partnerships with local government, the private sector, local
civil society among others. Success of the pilot phase will set the Indonesia on a pathway to full membership. We are currently seeking to fill the following position:
DONOR RETENTION MANAGER –
Fundraising Marketing & Communication
1 position, based in Jakarta

ROLE PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Senior Fundraising Manager and working across the organisation, the Donor Retention Manager will have key objective:
- Being part of the donor recruitment process – from fundraising comms, to donors’ first contact with Save the Children (welcome comms/website) through to long-term giving (regular comms updates/website)
donors - Provide practical support and strategic advice on relationship fundraising, with a focus on retention and development, implementing best practices throughout Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik in order to maximize
donor engagement and life time value. - Producing engaging and inspiring updates for donors with a regular schedule of personalised donor communications (email, SMS, print, website, social media)
- Champion the prioritization of donor retention and development initiatives, providing vision and expert leadership.
- Lead the development of Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik donor retention and development strategies, ensuring continuous learning and innovation.
