Save the Children’s programs in Indonesia is implemented by Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik. We currently work in eleven provinces, have staff of approximately 300 local professionals, and programming in Child Protection, Education, Health and Nutrition, Disaster
Risk Reduction, and Humanitarian Response. We are currently seeking to fill the following position:

ROLE PURPOSE:
The Humanitarian Preparedness and Response Coordinator will lead the El Nino-La Nina emergency preparedness and response team and produce detailed analysis and recommendations on response in NTT to the
country programme in collaboration with Eastern Indonesia Manager, Program Implemetation Director Humanitarian Manager and PDQ Team. She/he will be responsible for
organizing and leading need assessments related to El Nino and La Nina, identifying needs and resources and elaborating programme recommendations for the emergency response in line with Save the Children national and global priorities and establishing
an early warning monitoring system related to El Nino-La Nina to track the ongoing severity of the crisis.
The post holder will play a strategic role in the effective scale up and management of Save the Children emergency programmes in NTT to increase impact and enable positive change for children.
