WHO WE ARE

The Coral Triangle Center is an independent non-profit foundation registered in Indonesia that trains marine resource managers and educates all groups that interact with coastlines and reefs within the Coral Triangle. With a focus on customized training and enabling local communities, CTC supports marine protected areas, coordinate learning networks among MPA practitioners, women leaders and local government executives in the six countries of the Coral Triangle region as well as knowledge-sharing services to promote the sustainable management of the region’s rich marine heritage. CTC connects the public and private sector on coastal issues, and is developing a learning center of excellence in marine conservation in Bali. The organization provides an unique and integrated learning portfolio based on the needs of professionals and stakeholders to manage their marine natural resources. The applied training and learning programs are adaptive, innovative and customized to abate threats, address constraints and promote sustainable practices. The center is open for the public and provides meeting & dive training pool facility, exhibitions and escape rooms. Moreover He/She also organizes fun learning activities and special events.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The Center for Marine Conservation seeks a CMC Marketing Officer to join the CMC team. The CMC Marketing officer role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to implementing marketing strategies to promote CTC Center for Marine Conservation, and reaching sales targets outlined in the annual Workplan & Budget. This involves activities such as gathering sales data, maintaining good relations with partners/customers, and developing cross-promotions and promotional campaigns across various channels, including digital and social media.

Additionally, the CMC Marketing Officer individual will be responsible for gaining new partners, particularly in the hospitality and tourism industry, conducting regular pop-up bazaars/events, managing online sales marketing through CTC website and marketplace platforms, and serving as a marketing person for CMC’s products and events. Moreover, this position will provide support for the product development and assessment process of educational projects at CTC Center for Marine Conservation, as well as assisting with daily operations at the Center.

The CMC Marketing Officer will report directly to CTC’s Education & Outreach Coordinator and collaborate closely with the Executive Office & Communications team. The CMC Marketing Officer role is based in Bali and may require evening and weekend work to achieve program goals. The successful candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and contribute to the achievement of sales targets.

 

QUALIFICATION:

  1. Minimum Diploma Degree, preferably in marketing, sales, business, or related
  2. Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (both speaking and writing).
  3. Proven work experience in sales and marketing.
  4. Excellent communication and networking
  5. Ability to build and maintain a
  6. Experience in Eco-tourism will be an advantage
  7. Familiar with marine issues or Environmental Education will be an advantage

Job Type: Full-Time based in Sanur, Bali

Work Hours: The CMC Marketing Officer will mostly be scheduled to work 5 days per week with weekend/holiday on-duty schedule and willingness to work flexible working hours.
