The GHG market in Indonesia and ASEAN is developing fast. Indonesia has announced a carbon tax in 2022 and started its first carbon trading scheme in 2024. Companies are pressured by investors and regulators to provide ESG and GHG calculations. Tri Hita has seen a rising demand for GHG Management services and thus would like to grow its climate change advisory team by adding an international advisor either at its early or later stage of your career.

Responsibilities

Senior Project

• Lead communication and documentation with clients
• Prepare and hold presentations, maintain project folder structure and update Gantt charts/Project Timeline/Keep in budgets
• Monitoring of overall WDs
• Lead the analysis and report writing

Lead on the content creation of GHG Management

• Development, management and quality control of the technical work related to a) GHG inventories, b) data analysis, c) Climate Change mitigation/decarbonisation strategies, d) Capacity building
• Review and make recommendations to optimize our private sector GHG management approach (e.g. presentations, data collection, meetings etc.)
• Also support the topic area of Capacity Building regarding trainings of GHG management that could be advertised

Develop a business development strategy on the topic area GHG Management

• Develop together with the national team a short- and long-term GHG Management strategy including: a) current service products & pricing; b) customers; c) human resources; d) stakeholder analysis; e) competitors and e) niche
• Lead to Update on knowledge in the field of GHG management – regulations, GHG inventories, target setting, decarbonisation etc. (international standards, best practice and developments/trends)

General tasks

• Supervision of the GHG management team (3-4 staff)

Compensation and Benefits

• Remuneration will be between IDR 20-30 million/month (1000 to 1500 Euro)

Job Requirements

General Requirements

1. Excellent command in verbal and written English (IELTS score 5 and above); any experience with Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
2. cross-cultural consultant work competence (lived or worked
   abroad)
3. Self-driven personality, ability to work flexibly, independently
4. Environmentally minded

Technical Expertise

1. Proven 3-5 years study and work experience in GHG management, environment, and sustainable energy
2. Academic background in engineering or relevant environmental field
3. Proven experiences in GHG inventory/carbon accounting for organisation and project-based (ISO 14064 series, GHG Protocol, CDM methodologies, etc.).
4. Understanding of carbon credits, carbon market, CBAM, and PDD submission.
5. Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
6. Knowledge of Big data analysis is a plus
