Job Description

This is a contract role for an Economics Analyst. The Economics Analyst will be responsible for conducting economic research, performing statistical analyses, and providing the study of clean energy issues from an economic perspective. The individual will also need to effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders. This is an on-site role located in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics Science, Development Economic Studies, or related field
2. Having minimum 3 years experiences in Research fields or Energy Transition Fields.
3. Proficiency in writing Research Studies, Economics Research Reports, etc.
4. Excel in Economic Research and Analytical Skills
5. Proficiency in research methods (Both Qualitative and Quantitative)
6. Experience in designing research instruments
7. Excellent Communication skills
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively
9. Having an understanding of input-output (I-O) analysis is a plus
10. Familiarity with climate change and energy policy is a plus
11. Having a good experiences in leading Research Projects.
12. Interest in issues related to energy, especially bioenergy, forests and the environment.
