Strategic Alliance Sr. Manager

The Strategic Alliance Senior Manager will work under the direct supervision of the Program Director of HFH Indonesia. This position is responsible for applying sound projects and program management techniques and excellent written and verbal communication skills for a variety of national housing solutions across Indonesia.

  • This position will:
    • Manage scopes of work, schedules, and budgets, FOI project implementations, and reporting. Including proposal development for corporates and FOI, managing MEAL team,
      providing housing solutions in disaster resilience and recovery, advocacy and partnership with government and other relevant stakeholders.
    • As a Senior Manager, this position will contribute to reviews and decisions that have a significant impact on the organization, participate and contribute toward the achievement of annual and long-range strategic planning objectives.

Key Responsibility:

  • Corporates and FOI resource Development and Disaster Response Reserve Fund and Fundraising. Program Planning and Quality Monitoring.
  • Contribute, develop and maintain HFH Indonesia capacity in Housing Disaster Resilience and Recovery program.
  • Managing special projects of FOI.
  • Stakeholder Management and Advocacy.
  • Ensure quality reporting in projects implementation, national achievement and quarterly report for Asia Pacific.
  • As a member of National Procurement Committee and Safeguarding Committee.
  • As a member of HFI Supervisory Board.
  • Other duties consistent with the overall focus of HFHI as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of bachelor’s degree in development related studies with relevant training or graduate studies in a field related to development.
  2. Minimum 10 years of direct experience in disaster risk reduction and response situations.
  3. Knowledge of Core Humanitarian Standard, SPHERE, Red Cross code of conduct and other humanitarian standards.
  4. Strong leadership and project managerial skills.
  5. Strong experience in building relationships with external stakeholders such as Government representatives including National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), Ministry of Social Affair and other national NGOs.
  6. Experience in designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating interdisciplinary emergency response.
  7. An understanding of institutional donor requirements and procedures preferred.
  8. Previous emergency response experience in Asia pacific region preferred.
  9. Experience in knowledge management.
  10. Placement in Jakarta.
