A33 is seeking a Consultant for Proposal Development & Research to strengthen its capacity in policy research and advocacy. In this role, the Consultant will report directly to the Associate Directors and will be responsible for two main functions: (1) supporting proposal development, and (2) supporting research implementation.

Position: Consultant Middle Researcher & Proposal Development (Jakarta-based)
Scope of Work
Reporting directly to the Associate Director level, the Consultant will be responsible for:
- Leading the development of proposals across A33’s core thematic areas.
- Supporting research implementation as assigned, including data collection, analysis, policy research, and advocacy related to the thematic focus areas.
Selection Criteria
- Minimum Master’s degree in Public Policy, Development Studies, Economics, or related social sciences; a Ph.D. in Economics is an advantage.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in at least one of A33’s core thematic areas.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in proposal development, policy research, managing research teams, or related work.
- Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated commitment to deepening understanding of A33’s focus issues at the local, national, and global levels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently, while consistently meeting objectives and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professional fluency in English, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural, collaborative environment and to deliver results under tight timelines.
