About the role
For this position, Agriterra is seeking an experienced, results-oriented team member who thrives in a dynamic environment. The Cooperative Advisor has a background in development projects and a strong understanding of finance, possesses an entrepreneurial mindset, has a passion for creating real impact, and demonstrates the ability to steer the
project to success. As a Cooperative Advisor, you will lead the implementation and monitoring of the project, ensuring that all expected outputs, outcomes, and impacts are delivered on time and to a high standard. Your responsibilities include coordinating activities with project partners, providing financial and strategic guidance to cooperative leaders, managing risks, and strengthening the financial management capacity of the cooperatives.

Job Requirements
Position is Bandung-based, with an expectation of regular travel across provinces
- General Professional Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience at international organisation(s);
experience supporting agricultural development projects. - Practical Understanding of and experience in agricultural projects, cooperatives,
advisory work, financial management (including financial analysis). - Demonstrated ability to analyse financial statements, assess cooperative financial
performance, identify risks, and provide finance-driven recommendations.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience at international organisation(s);
- Qualifications
- University degree in Development Studies, Entrepreneurship, Agribusiness, Finance,
Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, or a closely related field.

- Strong analytical skills with sound commercial and financial insight.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- A robust and proactive personality, capable of working independently while maintaining accountability and structure.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver client-friendly, practical, and results-oriented advisory services.
- Effective use of training, facilitation, and communication techniques in diverse settings.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (spoken and written).
- Good oral and written communication ski ls (English and other languages where relevant). Good computer ski ls in MS-applications (MS Office).
