Misereor is the German Catholic bishops’ organization for development cooperation. It supports partner organizations in the Global South by financing projects that fight poverty and promote sustainable development and transformation. Financial support for these projects is made available by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through the Catholic Central Agency for Global Development (KZE).

The purpose of this advisory is to strengthen financial administration capacities of benefiting Misereor partner organizations with regards to requirements associated with funding from German Federal sources, as set out in the respective cooperation agreements with Misereor.
