AMC is supporting Masyarakat Energi Terbarukan (METI) in recruiting a Deputy Executive Director to strengthen its role in Indonesia’s energy transition.

Masyarakat Energi Terbarukan (METI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing renewable energy, energy transition, and sustainable development in Indonesia. We work closely with stakeholders to drive impactful initiatives and strategies that support Indonesia’s energy transformation.

Role & Responsibilities;

• Conduct METI daily activities in line with METI Strategic Plan.

• Represent METI in day-to-day activities as directed by the Executive Director.

• Coordinate METI board meetings and other activities to implement METI programs.

• Build and maintain relationships with renewable energy stakeholders to support METI’s strategies and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree minimum (preferably in energy, environment, engineering, management, economics, or public policy).

• At least 2 years of work experience in renewable energy, environment, sustainable development, or non-profit organizations/associations.

• Strong understanding of renewable energy issues, energy policy, and energy transition in Indonesia.

• Skills in communication, negotiation, networking, and organizational management (strategic planning, administration, reporting, and design to support organizational communication).

• High integrity, leadership, and ability to work independently as well as in a team.

• Strong English proficiency (spoken and written), with a minimum TOEFL score of 550.
