Koalisi Ekonomi Membumi (KEM) is a collective movement aimed at accelerating the growth of a sustainable investment ecosystem that prioritizes Indonesia’s local wisdom through multi-sectoral, multinational, and multi-stakeholder collaboration to achieve transformative change that ensures the well-being of communities while preserving forests, peatlands, and other vital ecosystems in its supply chain.
With 34 active member organizations, KEM has united stakeholders with a shared vision encompassing commitments to sustainability: 100 jurisdictions with dedicated policies and planning in sustainability, 100+ businesses operating with sustainable practices and connected to sustainable supply chain, and unlocking transactions, investments, or financing totaling 200 million USD. This interconnected framework highlights KEM’s aspiration to channel funding into sustainable businesses situated within jurisdictions committed to fostering environmental and social responsibility.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Executive Coordination Officer (ECO) plays a central role in ensuring the smooth
coordination and operational rhythm of KEM’s leadership functions. Working closely
with the Executive Director, Deputy Directors, and Board, this position ensures that
strategic discussions translate into timely actions, documentation is well maintained,
and communication across the management team and secretariat remains seamless.
This is a role for someone who is organized, discreet, digitally adept, and comfortable
engaging across senior leaders, partners, and working teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Decision and Documentation Support
- Prepare, record, and maintain documentation of leadership and board meetings,
including minutes, resolutions, and follow-up trackers. - Ensure key decisions are captured accurately and translated into actionable steps
with clear timelines and accountability. - Maintain confidentiality and uphold governance integrity in documentation
practices.

- Support the Executive Director in maintaining the management’s weekly and
monthly rhythm — from scheduling and agenda-setting to progress tracking and
follow-ups. - Coordinate pre-reads, action trackers, and internal dashboards to ensure visibility
of progress across directorates. - Anticipate operational bottlenecks and support timely resolution through
proactive coordination.

such as event briefs, quotes, and post drafts for social media or newsletters. - Coordinate with the Communication Specialist to ensure accuracy, consistency,
and alignment with KEM’s institutional narrative. - Track speaking engagements, media appearances, and leadership commitments
to ensure effective preparation and follow-up.
- Assist the Executive Director and Deputies in curating public visibility content

- Manage logistics for executive-level meetings, workshops, and coalition events,
including scheduling, invitations, venue coordination, and partner liaison. - Serve as the first point of contact for external partners seeking engagement with
the Executive Director or Board. - Support high-level correspondence and relationship management follow-ups.

Rapat Umum Anggota (RUA) documentation, and compliance reporting in
accordance with KEM’s Anggaran Rumah Tangga (ART). - Ensure that governance and communication protocols are consistently observed.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Political Science,
or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a coordination or executive support
role, preferably in a coalition, foundation, or development organization. - Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders with discretion,
diplomacy, and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and writing skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Strong proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (Google Workspace,
Microsoft Office, Notion, ClickUp, or similar platforms). - Familiarity with digital communication and social media engagement tools is an
advantage. - Experience in supporting boards, executive offices, or leadership teams in
multi-stakeholder initiatives is an advantage. - Understanding of Indonesia’s sustainability, policy, and responsible investment
ecosystem. - Highly organized, dependable, and service-oriented, with strong interpersonal
and cross-cultural communication skills. - Proactive, adaptable, and solution-driven, able to work effectively in a dynamic
and collaborative coalition environment. - Comfortable managing multiple timelines, anticipating needs, and supporting
decision-making at the leadership level.
TERM OF OFFER
- Contract Period: Grant-funded until 2026, with potential for extension.
- Reporting: The Deputy will report to the Executive Director.
- Duty Station: Jakarta, Indonesia (hybrid), with travel necessary based on the
needs.
