BACKGROUND

RECOFTC Indonesia is based in Bogor, Indonesia. Its financial statements are prepared using the modified cash basis of accounting and in accordance with Financial Accounting Standards Interpretation (ISAK) 335 of 2024 concerning the “Presentation of Financial Statements for Non-Profit Oriented Entities.”

To ensure financial transparency and maintain donor trust, RECOFTC Indonesia commissions an annual independent audit by a public accounting firm selected through a competitive procurement process. RECOFTC Indonesia is now seeking qualified external auditors to conduct institutional audits for the financial years ending December 31, 2023, and 2024. Interested audit firms are invited to submit quotations in response to this Terms of Reference.

Summary of Requirements:

1. The audit must be conducted by a certified Public Accountant registered with OJK and/or the Ministry of Finance of Indonesia.
2. The auditor must have relevant experience in auditing non-profit organizations and familiarity with donor-funded projects.
3. The audit report must be bilingual (Bahasa Indonesia and English), and present financial information in both IDR and USD.
4. The audit will be conducted remotely. All necessary documents will be provided in digital format.

Audit Period:

January 1 – December 31, 2023

January 1 – December 31, 2024

Expected Duration of Assignment:

The audit process for each fiscal year is expected to be completed within three (3) weeks after the engagement starts. The detailed schedule will be discussed with the selected auditor.

Compensation Method:

The audit fees will be fixed through a competitive bidding process.
