Laboratory Technician
Designation: Laboratory Technician for Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine Impact Evaluation Study In Indonesia
Place of work: Central Jakarta
Scope of work and responsibilities
- Perform basic microbiology laboratory housekeeping practices to support the study investigations, including preparing broth/agar media and reagents, decontaminating biological waste, and cleaning and sterilizing lab instruments, including glassware.
- Maintain records and logs for laboratory instruments and supplies, ensure lab instruments are sanitized and clean, and make sure necessary lab supplies are accessible to all laboratory staff.
- Follow the specified scientific procedures and comply with safety guidelines
- Performs well in fast-paced settings and handles demanding tasks efficiently.
Term: Full-time, initial contract until May 2026 with possibility of extension.
Qualifications and Experiences
- Educational qualifications: A Bachelor of Science in Biology degree is preferable.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. However, prior experience in microbiology laboratory settings through academic study or internships is preferred.
- Basic level in written and spoken English.
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
