Provincial Project Coordinator

Overview:

Jhpiego seeks 3 (three) Project Coordinators to support an USAID MCGL  project in Provincial Office. The project supports the Government of Indonesia in strengthening Quality Improvement (QI) Collaboratives for Maternal and Neonatal Health (MNH) and enhancing cadre-led home visit to improve community-based care. This position will initially report to the National Project Coordinator.

 

Position Reports To: National Project Coordinator (Interim)

Location : West Java, Central Java, NTT

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support Sr. Program Manager in translating the project workplan into detailed activities and tracking tools
  • Provide day-to-day coordination support to ensure activities implemented on schedule and align with the monthly and quarterly plan
  • Support Sr. Program Manager to coordinate the project activities in province and district intervention.
  • Prepare and submit a weekly activity update report to the National Program Coordinator, highlighting progress, challenges, and support needed for timely decision-making and coordination.
  • In coordination with Program Assistant to provide administrative support to the project
  • Assist project team and relevant partners with documentation, filing records, and distributing Materials in coordination with Program Assistant
  • Assist Sr. Program Manager to work with QO Specialist and District Officer in ensuring the implementation in districts as strategy in workplan
  • Assist Sr.Program Manager with coordinating activities, collecting and compiling report inputs from District Coordinators
  • Provide event planning support, including sourcing venues and managing logistics, for project events such as meetings, workshops, and trainings in coordination with Program Assistant
  • Work closely with Sr.Program Manager and Finance staff to develop activity budget, process and reconcile invoices, and maintain payment documentation records
  • Keep track of project inventory
  • Work closely with Procurements team in National level to handle program procurements and other needs in province and districts
  • Deliver any other task as assigned by supervisor.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2-3 years relevant work experience
  • Understanding of public health, social and development approaches is preferred
  • Strong ability to work and communicate within a team
  • Experience handling project finances preferred
  • Computer skills, including demonstrated competency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and to exercise independent judgment
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to work under pressure and balance workloads among competing priorities and a tight Schedule
  • Demonstrated excellence in oral and written Indonesian language; English language proficiency preferred
