Who We Are
Kaleka, previously known as Inobu, is an Indonesian non-profit research institute established in 2014. Kaleka’s collaborative applied research is intended to inform policy and design innovations that leads to the sustainable and equitable production of commodities and use of natural resources. Key of Responsibilities
- Monitor & evaluate the progress of conservation activities, including planning & implementation.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relevant to conservation efforts.
- Support implementation from planning to execution stages for Carbon measurement and certification.
- Produce periodic progress reports on conservation activities.
- Conduct literature studies pertinent to conservation initiatives.
- Coordinate planning & intervention design for conservation activities in collaboration with Village Facilitators.
- Communicate, coordinate & provide mentorship to Village Facilitators.
- Establish & maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders including Farmers, local NGOs, community organizations, village government & local government.
- Report progress, challenges & provide concrete recommendations for achieving KPIs.
Requirements
- Preferably male.
- Bachelor’s degree in Forestry.
- Minimum of 1 (one) year experience in conservation activities.
- Experience in Social Forestry and Community Empowerment is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge and practice of Forest Conservation.
- Ability to adapt and communicate effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Capable of working both in a team and independently.
- Proficient in operating navigation tools including GPS & mapping applications on Android.
