Grant Officer

Job Description:

  • Coordinate the full sub-grantee process from proposal to closure.
  • Manage sub-grant guidelines, templates, and SOPs in line with donor rules.
  • Ensure transparency and accountability in all grant activities.
  • Monitor grantees regularly for program and financial compliance.
  • Track progress, timelines, and milestones of grant agreements.
  • Address non-compliance or performance issues with corrective actions.
  • Manage sub-grantee mechanisms and seed funding with the Program Officer.
  • Keep the sub-grant tracker updated with disbursement and reporting schedules.
  • Submit monthly and quarterly progress reports.
  • Support case studies and success story documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant or sub-grant management (preferably in donor-funded programs).
  • Strong knowledge of community-based programs and civil society strengthening.
  • Proven ability in financial review, compliance oversight, and partner mentoring.
  • Excellent facilitation, coordination, and reporting skills.
  • Willingness to travel to remote areas for field monitoring.
