Grant Officer
Job Description:
- Coordinate the full sub-grantee process from proposal to closure.
- Manage sub-grant guidelines, templates, and SOPs in line with donor rules.
- Ensure transparency and accountability in all grant activities.
- Monitor grantees regularly for program and financial compliance.
- Track progress, timelines, and milestones of grant agreements.
- Address non-compliance or performance issues with corrective actions.
- Manage sub-grantee mechanisms and seed funding with the Program Officer.
- Keep the sub-grant tracker updated with disbursement and reporting schedules.
- Submit monthly and quarterly progress reports.
- Support case studies and success story documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant or sub-grant management (preferably in donor-funded programs).
- Strong knowledge of community-based programs and civil society strengthening.
- Proven ability in financial review, compliance oversight, and partner mentoring.
- Excellent facilitation, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel to remote areas for field monitoring.
