Using the proven Ponseti Method, clubfoot can be fully treated in over 95% of cases. Since 2010, MiracleFeet has supported treatment for more than 120,000 children through partnerships with clinics and organizations in nearly 40 countries.
In Indonesia, MiracleFeet works closely with local partners, health facilities, and government stakeholders to strengthen access to sustainable, high-quality clubfoot care.
Position Summary
The Program Field Officer (PFO) plays a hands-on role in supporting and strengthening clubfoot programs across Indonesia. This position works closely with local partner organizations, clinics, and health stakeholders to ensure quality service delivery, strong partnerships, and continuous program improvement.
The PFO is a field-oriented role with regular travel to partner sites and a strong focus on relationship management, partner support, and problem-solving. The role reports to the Program Manager and collaborates closely with MiracleFeet’s regional and global program teams.
This position is remote-based in Indonesia, with regular domestic travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner Support & Field Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Indonesia-based partners, clinics, and stakeholders
- Conduct regular field visits to support program implementation, quality improvement, and partner capacity strengthening
- Build trusted, respectful relationships with partner staff, clinicians, and community stakeholders
- Provide coaching and practical guidance to partners to improve outreach, referral systems, treatment compliance, and overall program quality
- Program Implementation & Monitoring
- Support partners in planning, implementing, and monitoring clubfoot activities in line with MiracleFeet standards and national priorities
- Assist partners with work planning, budgeting, reporting, and grant compliance
- Monitor progress against agreed indicators and support partners to use data for decision-making
- Support data collection, validation, and interpretation using tools such as Salesforce and CommCare (training provided as needed)
- Health System & Government Engagement

- Support partner engagement with local and national government stakeholders, including Ministry of Health counterparts
- Contribute to efforts to integrate clubfoot services into public health systems
- Stay informed about relevant public health policies, systems, and trends affecting clubfoot care in Indonesia
- Learning, Collaboration & Organizational Support

- Contribute to organizational learning by sharing field insights, challenges, and best practices
- Collaborate with other MiracleFeet program staff on regional or cross-country initiatives
- Participate in internal meetings, trainings, and organization-wide initiatives
- Support documentation, presentations, and knowledge-sharing activities as needed
Required Qualifications
- Education & Experience

- Graduate degree in public health, health sciences, social development, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in program implementation, field coordination, or partner support
- Experience with local NGOs, community-based organizations, or public health programs is strongly encouraged
- Demonstrated experience working with community-level or health facility–based programs
- Skills & Competencies

- Strong understanding of the Indonesian public health or community development context
- Practical experience supporting partners, mentoring staff, or strengthening organizational capacity
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, field-oriented role
- Comfortable traveling domestically (up to ~30% of time)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Fluent Bahasa Indonesia (required)
- Working proficiency in English (written and spoken) sufficient for reports and coordination with international colleagues

- Familiarity with maternal and child health, disability, or rehabilitation programs
- Experience supporting advocacy or policy-related initiatives
Location & Contract Details
- Remote-based within Indonesia
- Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Indonesia (visa sponsorship not available)
- Contract position with potential multi-year renewal, subject to performance and funding
