INTRODUCTION
Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung (HRNS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to sustainable development amongst coffee growing communities HRNS focuses on several key areas: Sustainable Coffee Farming: HRNS collaborates with local coffee farmers to promote sustainable farming practices. This includes techniques for better crop yield, quality improvement, and environmentally friendly cultivation methods. This includes workshops on agricultural best practices, quality control, and post-harvest processing.
In recent years HRNS Indonesia has been increasing its focus on diversification of production, with the introduction of shade trees, cover crops and a variety of other plant species that increase economic and environmental resilience. In the coming years HRNS Indonesia will be working towards the introduction of true agroforestry systems that are both economically viable and environmentally regenerative.
Attached to diversified farming is the need for diversification in product development from agricultural products. Currently HRNS supports juice making, mushroom growing and snack production.
HRNS has a special interest to ensure that women and youth are included and benefit equally from the program. The youth and gender field officers will play an important role in both identifying focus areas to improve participation and guiding the program activities towards women and youth.

DEPARTMENT PURPOSE
- Communicates financial information to senior level managers in -country
- Designs and reviews procedures.
- Influences managers to work differently/adopt procedures.
- Manages and resolves diverse problems of which some may be unprecedented whilst Others may have occurred previously, and some of which may be complex.
- Interpretation of financial information; provision of advice to departmental managers and senior managers.
- Manage time, solve problems which will vary and usually have established solutions
- Provide advise at detailed level
- Builds financial management capacity of finance staff at transactional processing level
- Awareness of donor or project financial reports requirements
TEAM PURPOSE
To ensure that financial procedures & policies are implemented and practiced in a way that meet organizational objectives and to provide maximum support to the program staff.
JOB PURPOSE
The Finance and HR Lead plays a pivotal role in overseeing both the financial management and human resource functions at HRNS Indonesia. This position is responsible for ensuring that financial operations, budgeting, and HR activities are executed efficiently and in full compliance with internal policies, donor requirements, and local regulations. The Finance and HR Lead will contribute to strategic decision-making as part of the management team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial and Human Resource Management:
- Advise the Co-Country Managers and senior leadership on financial planning, HR policies, and organizational growth.
- Lead efforts to streamline and optimize financial and HR processes for improved efficiency.
- Play an active role in the development of strategic and operational plans, ensuring financial viability and sustainability.
- Ensure all financial data is properly recorded and maintained in the accounting system, adhering to international accounting standards.
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes of all staff, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and HRNS policies.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to maintain a fair, equitable, and performance-driven work environment.
- Lead staff performance reviews and support professional development initiatives to enhance team capacity and skills.
- Foster a positive organizational culture, ensuring team alignment with HRNS values and promoting staff well-being.
- Handle HR disputes, disciplinary actions, and grievance processes in a fair and transparent manner.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, including taxes, benefits, and social security contributions.
- Responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting related administrative processes.
