a real commitment to gender equality and International aid and development
background. This post will be based in Jakarta for fixed term contract 12
months with possible extension.
JOB PURPOSE:
To provide information technology support to and handle system/programme
administration information for the Indonesia program (Jakarta Country
offices and sub offices in Indonesia). S/he will directly report to a
Senior IT Officer (SITO).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To assist the SITO on management and maintenance of all computer
systems in the specified country offices and sub-offices, assessment
of requirements on purchase of hardware/software for all the offices,
and installation of updated software. To ensure that this is done in
coordination with SITO / RISM / ISD.
To oversee installation of new versions of software in specified
country offices and sub-offices as directed by the SITO, Regional
Management Center (RISM) and Oxford (Information System Division).
To be the first point of contact for SITO, and specified country
offices and sub-offices for any IT queries.
To submit an annual budget for IT costs for all specified country
office, and to provide up-to-date expenditure incurred under this
head. To suggest programme-wide specific expenditure for IT to be
incorporated into annual budget processes with the most
cost-effective parameters for Oxfam.
To be responsible for submitting a monthly report to the SITO on IT
issues for all offices.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Graduate and professional training on computers (basic hardware and
software).
Up-to-date knowledge and skills on latest developments in the IT
systems field.
Technically competent in a number of IT operating systems.
Experience of IT support in a similar role.
High level of competence in the development and implementation of
computerized systems.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa
Indonesia.
Use of initiative in problem solving and can suggest new ways to
improve the work process.
Can learns and follow Oxfam policies and technical procedures to do
the job.
Takes responsibility for and completes standard tasks with minimal
supervision.
