Grant Writer

Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and organized Grant Writer with a proven track record of securing external funding through grants. This position will involve developing and writing grant proposals to grant-making organizations such as foundations, corporations, and select government bodies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting a proposal for a Brake Control System project
  • Conducting thorough research to identify potential donors that align with the organization’s objectives.
  • Analyzing funding trends, guidelines, and priorities to ensure the proposals meet the specific criteria and interests of each donor. 
  • Lead Consultations with key internal stakeholders to gather insights and align project proposals with the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all grant agreements, including the use of funds, reporting, and acknowledgment requirements.
  • Collaborated with other departments to  ensure a cohesive and comprehensive understanding of project requirements and outcomes.
  • Develop detailed and persuasive grant proposals
  • Refining proposals through meticulous editing and proofreading, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and persuasiveness.
  • Overseeing the submission of grant proposals following donor specifications and deadlines. 
  • Assist in the development of materials and content for fundraising campaigns, annual reports, and donor communications that complement grant-seeking efforts.

Requirements

  • Degree in Communications, English, Journalism, non-profit management, public administration, or related areas. 
  • Have perfect English skills in writing, speaking, and presentation contexts.
  • Proven experience as a Grant Writer minimum of 5 years.
  • Demonstrated Success in Grant Proposal Writing and Submission
  • Proficiency with grant management systems, database, and basic office software
  • Familiarity with the non-profit sector and understanding of specific areas related to the organization’s mission.

The organization aims to create 200 Bamboo Villages by 2029, which includes 100 in Indonesia and 100 in other landscapes across the equatorial belt. BVT is located in Gianyar, Bali, Indonesia.
