Save the Children’s Education Youth Empowerment project being
implemented in Bandung, Indonesia aims to help student in vocational
school low to access safe and preferred employment by providing market
relevant skills training, counseling and linkages to internship/job and
self-employment opportunities. Save the Children conducts a highly
localized Labor Market Assessment (LMA) in each project area in order to
identify relevant sectors and the specific job opportunities that would
be available for youth after graduating from the program. While each
geographic area. Over the past two years, the program has identified a
number of sectors that stand out as having strong potential for job
creation and absorption of trained youth in the long term. The program
also conducted many training for teacher in vocational school to improve
quality of vocational school.

To prepare youth to be able to compete and ready for
the working place there’s a need to equip them with proper training on
work readiness skill. Based on this needs S2S will need a consultant to
develop job counseling module which include but not limited to: Self
potential, motivation, making CV, preparing and having interview and job

search skill.

Task and Responsibility :

1. Develop job counseling module

     – Self potential and work place introduction

     – Create CV for beginner worker and technology introduction in creating CV

     – Interview for beginner worker (kind of interview such as on spot, walk  

        interview, call interview, etc)

     –  Seeking job (  via job fair, on line, news paper, etc)

     –  Avoid fraud and child right

     –  Use media, picture, and technology

2. Train facilitators on the module

3. Reporting of activities

Deliverables:

1.Draft module on job counseling

2. Final Module on job counseling developed

3. Report on teacher training
